In Roma we expiernced some heavy afternoon showers. The good thing is the streets are shiny and for a brief time reflective, the down side is you better watch your step.
Only the Second time I've been able to catch one of these - moon dropping below the visible horizon over Melbourne's north-western suburbs, about half an hour ago.

Only parts of its interesting north shore freezes during cold spells because in other parts underground water surfaces in underwater cracks keeping the surface water unfrozen. These cracks are formed were the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates drift apart and they are popular amongst divers as the water is extremely clear with visibility well over 100m. These cracks can also be seen on land in nearby? ingvellir national park.
3-Exposure HDR - using the Canon 5D... not bad so far in tests... but I think with more exposures I can get more details in the reflections.
