It's always a pleasure to receive a phone call from a friend, especially at christmas and even more so if you live alone. why not phone a friend for Xmas, hopefully your phone is easier to access than this one!
And to answer comments: i think it functions and it really stands in the middle of nowhere at the junction of two single-track roads.
