We spent Christmas day at my sister in laws house. The kids have been following the Ball of Light for a long time. As the day wore on I suggested that as it got dark they might see one, as the Ball of Light probably knows they have been following it.

I told them if they went out to the front of the house, and stayed really REALLY still they might get lucky. They tried very hard to stay as still as they could and were rewarded by seeing a special Christmas day Ball of Light.

I love these Kids!

(The only adjustments to this image are minor brightness and saturation tweaks. NO PIXELS ARE ADDED OR REMOVED. It is taken in a SINGLE EXPOSURE, with no use of "mechanical devices".

This is my 2nd post for my crap challenge set :)) Yeah rather crappy subject but that's the challenge! ;) Anyhow its fascinating to find an abandoned petrol kiosk out of nowhere. It must have been there since coca cola era cos it looks real vintage & classic to me! :P

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (blues) to darken the sky
