For today's 365, this is another song that i particularly enjoy by Yiruma. It is a very gorgeous song. He is very talented. I think you guys should ALL check it out HERE.

I was going to play this on the piano and upload it today but i decided i'll do it another day since i've been putting up videos a bit too often these days haha. (Like i said i'm TOTALLY taking advantage of the pro account :D)

I hope the corporations that can afford to advertise here can put aside some ad-money to help Haiti.

When you live in the city of glitz and glamour, it's hard to remember that in other parts of the world, people live with next to nothing.

Photo is psuedo HDR. Not processed with any HDR program. Simply pieced a few exposures together the way I wanted in Photoshop, then moved to Lightroom for post. It looks pretty awesome in BW too, but I just can't bring myself to sap the color.

My 2nd last post for the year woohoo! That means I'm another day closer to my holiday! :P Today is a bit crazy for me.. lots to do here & packing to be done for friday. Real busy so a quickie post for now but will try catch up soon in my slow yet steadiest pace :)) Hang on! less than 2 days to go before xmas hit us downunder! :D joy to the world baby!

Standard 3 exposure shot (+2..0..-2 EV) with tripod using Sigma DC HSM 10-20mm lens

- Tonemapped generated HDR using detail enhancer option

Photoshop

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'curves' to increase the contrast

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (blues) to adjust the sky

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (yellows) to tone up the sunset

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (reds) to drastically tone down the pillars

- Applied some dodging on the top section of the pagodas

- Applied noise reduction

- Used 'unsharp mask' (as always) on the background layer
