The ball of light almost seemed like it was trying to match the crazy colours on the wall in Hobart. It was so bright. Maybe I should seek out more tunnels, and graffiti, and we might be lucky enough to see these bright little boys again.

This was a really cool stop on the tour. I am really glad i saw this place in the shape it was. Pure beauty. Nothing was broken or stolen. I think soon it all will be smashed by the kids and all of it will be gone..

Morning stretches

Alex and i found the sweetest location EVER today. this is the root system of a giant tree that recently fell in the woods near my parents house. alex is actually pretty high up on it - id say this wall of roots was at least twice as tall as me.
And talk about being a good sport. i seriously love alex. she does the craziest things for me. she made this her profile pic on facebook and this is the caption: "just half naked climbing tree roots at 11am on a cold Minnesota morning, you know... the usual."
I may make a blog post with all the photos from today (i took one of her little boy too!) but if not, you will be able to find them all on facebook later tonight - currently i have one close up of alex there already. :)
