If you wait long enough you'd probably see a wink.

@ Ferrari Bordeaux,
Not very content with my retouching but f*** I've spent one hour on it!
Now this is a proper Texas ghost town!
It was always one of those things that fascinated me as a child. Pretty much anything with the name "ghost" in it was cool back then, including my "Choose Your Own Adventure" books. I remember there was one called "Deadwood" or something like that, which always had a creepy ghost town feel to it.
Anyway, this is a strange abandoned town outside of Brenham, Texas (Home of Blue Bell Ice Cream!). And no, 17 Bodies were not found here... just being a bit dramatic. Or maybe there WERE 17 bodies here but the authorities are just covering it up. It's all true. I heard Alex Jones say it.
Last, I have updated my Nikon 14-24 Review and my Nikon 24-70 Review with new photos and the like. I know that only about half of our audience is photographers, but some people are looking to get into it more seriously, so maybe those will be helpful to you!

7 1/2-Months Old Jaguar Cub, Palm Beach Zoo, West Palm Beach, FL
Watching her play in the water was such a delight. Before Maya went after the ball, she was just playing catch with her tail and diving, going under for at least 20 seconds, rolling around in the water... I didn't know jaguar are such good swimmers and that they can hold their breath so long... amazing... and fun to watch. Took many shots but messed up most of them... I have more shots of in focus wire mesh than of Maya.
The holidays are over :-(
So I'll start with the typical sunset shot that we had everyday at around 6:15pm from the hotel's beach.
This title is "borrowed" from my good flickr friend Norm (norjam8) from his Better Than TV series. Thanks for the title idea Norm!
