Over 50 women telephone switchboard operators and their supervisors. During this period (circa 1914), only young women (not men) were hired for this type of work at a Salt Lake City, Utah company. Men were not considered "polite" enough for this kind of work :)

This image comes from a group of vintage images that I purchased -- all are scanned from contact prints made from the original 8x10 glass negatives. I have performed extensive restoration work on each image, but trying to be true to the original.

It was sweet seeing these gentle marine mammals.

I remember giving my wife a manatee toy ( Dugong) when we were still dating.

We stayed here for a while and they were being fed with fresh cabbages when we left.

Barato! por incrivel que pareca essa e a palavra que define esse carro pra mim, com o lendario motor HEMI, que na gringa rende 400 cv e aqui no brasil perdeu 50 por causa da nossa gasolina podre! alem disso, esse modelo ja vem com rodas aro 20 de serie.

E o motorzao nao esta la apenas pra falar que tem um hemi no cofre do motor, ele realmente anda muito, nos chegamos a 250 km/h sem nenhum esforco e nao passamos disso por falta de pista..

Alem de todos os requintes encontrados no 300C original.

Tudo isso por apenas 250 mil reais.
