"No matter what it takes..."

"No matter what it takes..."

... no matter how long... or how painful...

He will get down to the street, day after day... and cross the block for his sunset walk....

May the Gods bless him, his courage, his strength and his independence... for he touched my heart the day I passed by him on the street... and I do hope if I ever reach his age, I have that energy too...

Hudson Street,

Somewhere in the West Village,

New York.

Taken with a 3G iPhone.

PS: This week, I've appeared on Time Out New York again... participating of their great project for the PHOTO ISSUE, where I (next to other 82 New York personalities, including celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Tim Gun, Sean Lennon... and Anton!! LOL) photographed "a vision of New York", using a disposable Kodak camera... You may see a small photo of my batch printed on the magazine (Time Out New York, Issue 727, Page 19). And you can see some of my best shots at their website Here , and my tip to whoever wants to begin taking photos Here .

The Beauty of Destruction

the beauty of destruction photo

The Beauty of Destruction

I drove 120 miles round trip from where I'm working just to make it to a lake where the water is drastically low, and most of the forrest around it has been clear cut.

Needless to say, I think it was worth the trip. I'm probably going to post a lot of photos from this 30 minute shoot. I just couldn't stop myself.

I haven't done it in a while, but Here is a larger version of this shot only because I want to see it tomorrow at work, to the guys who I saw this spot as we went wizzing by.
